I know they offered him the canelo fight and he said he ain't ready.. but Maybe GBP can throw big money and make it a winter thing.

Lara more than likely is out of the way for Alvarez for right now. Lara is fighting on the IBF Championship card next week. He will probably be lined up to fight either Bundrage or Spinks next. Once he has a championship, things will get interesting. I think Lara takes care of business next week and against whoever the IBF champion may be.

 

I thought it was a more justified quitting. The thought of a broken jaw usually sends chills down my back :!:

 

To share some business understanding to those saying Lara won't fight Molina. They have the same management, and he doesn't want that fight because he feels both fighters are on their own way without each other. When the real smoke settles, maybe they will fight in the future. I have a feeling Lara will be the one still standing. Besides, Molina will make it a sloppy fight anyway. Its not what makes business sense in the eyes of management.

I just can't see GBP making an Alvarez-Lara match up, maybe they do at this point but I doubt it.

I guess they either go with Trout or the Spinks-Bundrage winner. I wouldn't be shocked if they kept the Sept 15 date but put the fight on regular Showtime and not ppv.

 

I was rooting for Lopez the whole time. Look at the thread on who was rolling with Lopez. I was the only one who picked him to win.
