    it Depends ,

Lets say the number the fight will generate is 10 points. Monroe being who he is wants 0.5 - 1 points, that leaves GGG with 9 - 9.5 points of the money.

Lara on the other hand with his ego and team behind him would want at least 3 - 4 points , but the fight would generate no more revenue than the Monroe fight so GGG ends up losing money fighting a name that didn't matter in the first place.

One of the many reasons Khan never got the Floyd fight.

Lara has had bigger fights and has been on PPV before so he does deserve more money then Monroe took. Thats just common sense. And i think the Lara fight would do more then 150k PPV buys, because alot of people are intrigued by the styles matchup, and realize Lara is better then anyone GGG has fought upto this point. Lara might be GGGs Douglas!:deal

If Lara can prove his worth at 160 lbs, which I think he should be able to, than I can see him and Gennady fighting down the road.

I just don't think GOlovkin will fight him anytime soon until Lara beats at least a guy or 2 in the top 10 at MW.

Thats cool and all, but Lara could gain 6 pounds and not be affected by it. I think his Frame might even be better at the higher weight class.. We shall see because i think hes moving up after the zaveck fight.

Why does nobody seem to want to notice the fact that Lara was dropped hard twice by Angulo a plodder with not even a modicum of ring cutting skill that GGG has?

Because he pulled through the adversity and won? Vargas pulled through the adversity against Tito and still happened to be competitive against oscar and shane.:deal

Yet I have a feeling if GGG went down twice and managed to pull off the win against Lemieux no one on this site would ever shut the f*** up about it, and you know it.:deal

Probably.. And i would give him credit for going through that type of adversity.. But i just want to see him tested and earn his reputatation on here, not have his fans tell me he something hes not...

Idiots and trolls are the only people who think GGG vs Lara is competitive.
If the fight got made they'd be telling you how it's a 50/50 fight, then after when GGG made Lara look like a 14-1 dog they would be crying about GGG beating up little fighters:rofl

    Just to recap:
Cotto and Canelo, who can actually fight on HBO and are fighting for the MW title, are too small for GGG. They aren't really middleweights.
Golovkin has to fight 154lb PBC fighter Lara.

    This is their argument.
