We've seen what Canelo can do against all styles and top of the line fighters.
We have not seen the same from Golovkin.
Would be interesting to see how well Golovkin can cut the ring off on a Lara who's intent is to safely maneuver the ring.

Lara is the type of fighter even if you beat him, you don't look good against.
I personally think Lara is to defensive and will likely lose to a great offensive fighter like Golovkin. The interest I have in seeing the fight is to see if Golovkin can look good in beating Lara.

If Golovkin looks good in beating Lara, I'll be a believer that he's the real deal, because I'm not there yet.

I highly doubt Lara himself believes he has a slight chance Golovkin. Lara is a small 154'er who should actually be fighting at 147. He could possibly beat all champs at 147. But at 160, GGG will literally wreck him.

He wants a payday, nothing wrong with it. But he needs to be relevant at 160 first. He can't be relevant at 160.

 

How relevant was Gabe Rosado at 160 when he got a fight? Has Gabe Rosado ever been relevant at 160? Even now? Lol

 

Hell...if GGG can't get a fight with the other top tier MWs, I think he should go ahead and get this fight.
