    Are you kidding me Lara leaves his hand down and isn't aggressive, Mayweather would catch him with right hands and then jab the body for most of the fight and get the decision.

    He's with SMS PROMOTIONS and they only fight every 16 -18 months and Kirk can't take a punch which is why he's fighting Bummies.

    Kirkland would knock Lara out. I would pay to see that fight to see if I am wrong.

    Of course Kirkland's defense leaves something to be desired against orthodox fighters, due to the physics involved and his style which is to seek and destroy.

    Regardless, Kirkland does use his short stature to duck and roll punches.

    Against a fighter with a similar stance, his defense will look significantly better as he will find it much easier to slip Lara's punches.

    Lara is not usually consistent enough to counter, but that won't matter because Kirkland will use his strength and relentless stamina to push Lara against the ropes and destroy his body and then his head.

    Lara would get KTFO against Kirkland.

    Kirkland would beat Floyd too.

    If Maidana managed to do what he did to Floyd, what do you think Kirkland would do?

    Styles make fights.

    Kirkland is the MOST dangerous fight out there for Floyd. Floyd would get brutally knocked out.

    Kirkland would beat Floyd? Now I KNOW you're trolling. Kirkland doesn't belong in the same ring as Floyd. Like people have said, Kirkland has no defense. Floyd would counter him all night long.

    Did you just say Kirkland has better defense?

    Kirkland blocks punches with his face. You can see that in the Tapia and Ishida fights.

    If Floyd chose Kirkland as his next opponent, people would (rightfully) call it a cherry-pick.

    That's tells you all you need to know about this arguement.

    There's a reason Kirkland's resume has very few punchers (other than Angulo) or sharpshooters on it.

    not saying Kirkland would win (chin) but Angulo has worse defense and is a lot slower than Kirkland and Angulo had Lara in trouble a few times in their fight. Kirkland and Angulo are both come forward and throw many punches similar style fighters.

    it would be interesting fight if Kirklands chin held up.
