Who the F@$! books an arena without having a fight secured? The Kell Brook being a last minute option sounds like complete BS.

apparently you havent been around boxing boards to see the pac/ggg fans claiming for years that "money doesnt count...why do we care about how much money these guys make...i watch boxing to see the best fight the best...how about fighting for the fans and legacy...take challenges"

That isn't new in boxing. A lot of big name fighters have been doing that for a long time. You really haven't heard of a boxer (or promoter) securing a date and venue well in advance? C'mon.

 

Maybe in Vegas, maybe if the fighter has options in his weight division, securing a venue in a situation like that makes absolute sense. Securing a venue when your only other option is a WW.. Sounds suspect.

 

the whole thing is suspect...but saying "brook was the only other option" is their only halfway viable excuse out of this MESS....its the only thing they have to lean on that might be halfway credible...so theyre gonna stick to their guns on that one because as we know its always someone elses fault and never k2s

brook/ggg was the setup from the get go....they had to set up a big smokescreen in order to not totally look ridiculous for making this joke

 

Id love to see this fight , sergiy put a a beating on him, big puncher and cuts off the ring very well
