this will be a stinkfest!! Good to see lara getting back in the ring this year. aslot of fighters lose and wait a whole 9 months to a year till they fight again. I thought Lara at least derserved a draw and he really didnt take no punishment so get back in the ring. Ishe sucks! but hes a top 10 JMW and there were gonna fight anyways to Cabelo took the fight so why not?

Lara wins in a stinker, could KO Smith though which would be good for him. 2015 he should get some big fights

For the viewier, this Is the boxing equivalent of Death by 1000 cuts.

Why not just put Miguel Vasquez and Carlos Molina on the undercard and call the Event 'FIGHT TO SLEEP' sponsored by AMBIEN.

This is what happens when you're a Haymon fighter. You either fight someone in-house, which is getting less likely, or you fight bums or risk sitting on the shelf like a good portion of the roster.

It won't be that bad. They both get a worse rap than deserved.

I'm interested. I don't find them to be awful to watch, as they are both good enough at what they do, they've got skills. Lara has fought a couple spoiler type fighters that most people seem to not find entertaining (Molina, Trout, now Ishe). However, he has to take bulk of responsibility for making the Williams and Alvarez fights less than thrilling, as both those guys are rarely in a dull fight.

Lara's like Rigondeaux; you'll either like him or you won't. I like him moderately enough.

As for Lara, he may not be a wild slugger with MMA grade standup but I don't understand why anyone that actually likes boxing would dislike watching him do his thing (or Rigondeaux do his own). Lara vs. Alvarez held my attention, no complaints. :conf. None of what he did fit e definition of "running" IMO. Dirrell outright ran from a fight with Stevens. Lara didn't run from Canelo, he boxed and moved. Same as Rigondeaux does. Same as other so called runners like Mayweather, Guzman, Calderon, and Cory Spinks.

I think you are gonna have a hard time convincing people Haymon is a bad businessman....Just the fact that he's got you hatin on him and trying to make him seem not great at his job is proof that he's doing his thing....it's like someone dissing Prime Don King or Bob Arum.... Only the best at their job get disses similar to the type you have just laid out.....if you ask anyone who is trying to get on in the sport and ask them what team they would like to work for Al Haymon and Golden Boy since they have split, then it would be followed by Top Rank....maybe third is gooson fourth would be maybe Don King or Dibella..

If you diss Haymon then you have to diss everyone else because Haymon's got the game on lock right now....anyone else is downgrading....

I didnt think Lara ran for most of that fight, he boxed really good! there was 1 part i was like "Yeah dude is running" but he cant stand and trade so what does anybody want him to do??

For this fight I just dont like Ishe even though he from Vegas like me. so its not just about Lara, this fight could be a real stinker because ishe be playing games in the ring

Lara just needs to stay busy which I'm not totally against but he has to look good in doing so..
