Agreed. This fight is everything thats wrong with Boxing and its fights like this that will kill the sport longterm. Lara, Smith, Carlos Molina, Miguel Vasquez, Richard Abril, Jermall Charlo, J'Leon Love, Mickey Bey and a whole list of other negative boring boxers should never be allowed on television or given exposure of any kind. Boxing is NOT a sport, it's ENTERTAINMENT. If a Boxer chooses not to Entertain then they should be punished by not representing Boxing on television to the viewer. In this modern age where at a flick of a button we can choose from 100's of different television programming, why the feck would any one in the right mind choose to watch something that will be dull, lifeless, uneventful and lacking in any entertainment value whatsoever...the answer is they won't! I saw give this television slot to some of the fantastic and exciting up and coming young boxers we have at the moment and let the viewer start to get familiar with them and build up a relationship with them.
