Lara sucks

Another horrible assessment!

Power ain't crap if you can't deliver it. Ask Ernie Shavers, the hardest punching man that everybody BEAT. Angulo has a monster motor and power. He can't deliver on both.

Angulo and Hill made a tradeoff. Angulo would never be able to deliver massive power on Lara. Lara is too slick and too Black. They instead focused on making this about Angulo's and Lara's stamina making it a war of attrition. It damned near worked.

The only time Angulo actually dug shots was when he finally cornered Lara on the ropes after tracking him down. Angulo dug hard to Lara's liver. Angulo also would use a bit more power with sweeping shots when Lara was squirting out with his hands down. That is what got the KDs.

Not with me and you guys know me on these subjects. I am usually attacking guys using Angulo's style, but damn. Angulo + Hill were amazing. Angulo did BEAUTIFUL work and nobody is even seeing it!

They used the perfect style and took a guy with insane talent and Boxing IQ and brought him down to their level with intelligent tactics. That is what The Sweet Science is all about.

Marg-a-cheat-o got caught cheating and was quickly ended after that. He regularly lost and/or struggled during the period you guys claimed he was getting ducked. He (and Arum) ruined his opportunities. Nobody ducked him.

Paul Williams is the ONLY guy that a legit claim for ducking can be dropped. Margarito does get props for taking him on, but alas, he lost.

When Rigo struggled against Cordoba everyone laughed and called him a "Glass Jawed Joke." I'm not ready to dismiss Lara yet. Surviving two knockdowns isn't a mark of weakness. He showed heart which had been a question before the fight with Angulo. Canelo and Trout are very good but I see nothing extra special in them. On any given day Trout, Canelo, Lara, Molina, and maybe Rosado - any one of these guys can come out on top

Cintron easily beat a prime, undefeated Angulo.

The fact that those other fighters were able to defeat Cintron speaks to Angulos limitations.

Chavez was an old man when he lost to Tszyu. Angulo was prime and undefeated when he lost to Cintron. Cintron lost to pwill and Molina a few fights after easily beating Angulo.

Angulo was taking a lot of punishment and ended up getting KO'd. Margo's resume shits all over Angulos.

cintron beat Juliano ramos in Puerto rico, a guy that was just kod by mike jones and hadn't fought in a year. kermit then jumped out of the ring against pw, then got schooled by Molina before beating career 147 journeyman smith to get his title shot at canelito.
