Yeah, the same guy who was champ @ 168 - the same division where Bumlovkin wanted to fight Carl Froch, Baby Chavez, Bernard Hopkins, etc...

Well 164 as offered it's in the middle and Golovkin is the A side so Ward should have taken it.

As idiots like you claim Golovkin should have taken 155, what's good for the goose.

GGG has all the potential to be as popular as Cotto and Canelo.

The difference between Cotto, Canelo and GGG is that the former two have fought the best opponents possible time and time again.

GGG on the other hand fights nobodies, and the public isn't easily fooled like they think they are. 97K proved that even the casuals are smart enough to know GGG fighting a Lemieux type fighter is a farce. :deal

Well who should he be fighting at 160?

    He's a middleweight so don't start naming 168 and 175 fighters.

Canelo went down in weight to fight an A side
    Cotto went up in weight

If GGG doesn't want to do as the greats have done and tested themselves in different divisions then he shall retire and never reach his full potential.

If he's scared of losing because he will be to weak below 160 or to small above 160 then he will have no one to blame but himself when he retires with the resume he so far has.

ggg doesn't have a fight lined up so there goes that theory from idiots. Make it happen. No more bums are allowed, that's what everybody should be saying to ggg.

In less than 4 years, a guy no American had ever heard of, from a country most can't spell, is now more popular than any active American fighter. He sells more tickets in the home state of the last American gold medal winner than the gold medalist does.

Yeah, they really struck out on how to build GGG.

Again, Golovkin has much more potential to be a big star.

Pacquiao, Cotto, Canelo all foreigners, all have language barriers, all were relatively unknown when they came into the scene, but all fought the best and made tons more money rather quickly because they paid their dues and did what it tool to fight the best.

With ALL the hype HBO gives Golovkin he barely cracked 97K :deal

Obviously I was taking the ****.

I'm against catchweights, either move up or down or don't fight. Show me a post where I've called Ward a ducker from avoiding 164?

I'm going by the logic of the idiots like yourself who claim Golovkin avoided Canelo at 155, so therefore Ward avoided Golovkin at 164.

    Try again.

    Well if Lara wants Govkin...

    1. He should move up as Golovkin is the A side.

    2. His promotional outfit should make the move too K2, as you said in a previous thread it's not up to the A side to make the move.

    1. Lara already made it clear that he will fight GGG at the full MW limit

    2. Lara has already been very vocal about wanting to fight GGG, so I'm sure his people have at least attempted to reach K2

I find it most odd how the Bumlovkinites cover their eyes and ears where these two points are concerned...

I say good decision not to fight Lara as Lara is exactly the type than can derail the hype train off its tracks.
Not enough money in it for Golovkin to take a risk against a fighter like Lara who GGG has never sniffed the likes of.

The problem here is that Lupe Suarez keeps on repeating how the best fighters don't want to fight his fighter and when somebody calls him out on it.........crickets!

Lara is a top dog at 154 why he should move when you have belt Canelo is out of the picture with the lawsuit in Miami, Lara is the best option for him easy money with a "smaller fighter" sure Showtime will buy it.
