    June 8th on the Showtime televised Maidana/Lopez undercard.

    Anyways, I'm really glad this quality fight was made.

    I don't see how this is a quality fight, Lara is a disgraceful boring runner. It will be a boring fight with one guy chasing a chicken. Hope Angulo can pull it off but he's no Margarito at his craft.

    I don't like Lara at all man. Hate his style. I enjoy watching come forward brawlers or AT least BOXERS with nice offense like Mikey Garcia. I am not a fan of runners.

    Pretty much any "true boxer" who has made it to the world level have nice offenses.

    You must dislike Ali. He ran way more than Mikey. And just because his punch output was higher, one could argue he ran more than Lara.

    Point is, style wise, this is a bad matchup. It will be a lame fight.

    Interesting fight. I just hope a competent ref is chosen in order to stop Lara from busting out his bag of dirty tricks.

    if i'm a tv exec, i wouldn't buy a lara fight until he redeems himself from that stinker he pulled against vanes. showtimes recent fight were bogere-abril, then week after centeno-weatherlace...both boring including both undercards.

    does espinoza know boxing or what??

    Ha you just don't like the style, I find Abril and Lara enjoyable, there is an audience for Cuban fighters, also the main event could be fight of the year

    I think a real fan can enjoy Rios-Alvarado and Rios-Abril, I'll never get how people didn't enjoy Abril making Rios look like a dumb bull by using the matador style
