    I actually like this fight. But unless Angulo improves dramatically he will lose handily.

    Do you know if its a 12 rounder Nonito?

    I too like this fight.

    I agree that Angulo would have to be at his best form... ever, in order to win.

    No idea on the round total but I assume it's for 12. I expect it's a WBC eliminator, but that's only a prediction. Lara vs. Vanes was an eliminator, Vanes backed out of a rematch, and Angulo is Mexican so naturally the WBC loves him.

    I don't know why everybody is so down on Lara vs. Vanes. I thought it was a totally watchable fight. I really didn't think Lara fought dirty to a level of that fight being known for that. I thought the "dirty fighting" was mutual between both of them. Far better fight to watch than all of the Bundrage/Ishe, Abril/Bogere, and Dib/Gradovich stretch we recently endured.

    Also, I find it funny that Lara is deemed as a scumbag runner by some folks on here, who were likely silent on his potshotting against Paul Williams. He got nothing but praise for that, yet people whine about him not standing toe to toe since then... Kinda lame... I think the sentiment was that the majority wanted Williams to lose then, and the majority want Lara to lose now, for whatever reasons. And people will see, say, and draw whatever conclusions they want to fit their agenda.

    I was very disappointed with Lara's performance against Vanes but i don't have anything personal against him and think he is very talented.

    Styles make fights and this pits a classic come forward slugger against a boxer puncher. Really fun style clash.

    The problem with Lara is his punch volume. If it stays low in this fight he may have problems.

    Angulo needs to work on his speed. Looks slower since his prison stint.

    It's an intriguing matchup and i believe most will agree with you.

    Lara is one of the must technical fighters in the game.His fight against Vanes had a bumpy beginning but we can't judge him by it.
    Very excited about this fight,Angulo always brings his relentless and toughness, Lara better be ready.
    Lara UD or late stoppage .

    Decent match-up but it's sad Lara vs Angulo doesn't ring a bell among casuals...

    Lara destroys him, it will be target practice, Angulo= slow as **** and just not that good even before jail.

    i think lara will get the win here. the fight might get sloppy. i think sum one can tire in the championship rds. its gunna a cat n mouse game n who ever doesnt gas out can make it interesting. lara wins a UD

    I got Angulo winning this. Despite being undersized, Freddy Hernandez was able to absorb Lara's best and dish out some punishment of his own, particularly to the body. I think Angulo's style will be poison for Lara.

    Thinking about it properly Lara will stop him, Angulo got rocked by that welterweight in his last fight Lara has decent power, he will bust his face up then if Angulo is hurt once Lara has the speed to throw shots but still stay out the way of Angulo's counters
