Wow :huh. I agree on Lara though. I don't see Ali and Lara fighting alike. Lara fight vs Vanes was frustrating to watch to say the least.

 

Some guys really do only like guys who stand and trade, Rios is more popular than Ward to these people almost feel like they aren't watching the right sport

 

I like BOTH styles but I have a limit lol. There's guys who are like Lara, but are a bit more offensive and don't clinch as much. Lara was literally wrestling vs Vanes. There has to be a limit ha. At least for me. Show me some boxing, don't just hold and throw 10 punches per round, ya dig?

Same with Brawlers. I don't like the dumb brawler who just comes forward all the time. I want to see some skills also. I'm somewhere in between.

You really think Lara can handle Angulo's pressure and body work? He does not have the size nor output that Cintron used to outbox Angulo. I see him getting in trouble against the ropes.

 

Yeah man, they're in a different class as far as I'm concerned.

Angulo and Kirkland both get shut out by Lara, and as much as I don't like Martirosyan they both probably lose to him as well.

We already know Molina (who proved to be on par with Lara in their controversial draw) is capable of handling Kirkland and would do so if they ever corrected that wonky DQ with a rematch.


It's simply a case of a tier-2 junior middleweight in Lara (tier-1 being Canelo/Trout/Mayweather) against a tier-3.



Angulo will do his usual thing, and definitely pile the pressure on, but Lara is too smooth to get trapped on the ropes by such a basic approach. He'll turn and counter Perro all night.

 

I think that Lara can take the pressure and counter beautifully.

 

This is a post Kirkland / Jail Angulo who I don't expect neither to be the same.

 

shows how low expectations are for lara. Canelo was getting criticized when it was rumored he was fighting angulo, but fans are excited lara is fighting angulo. a lot of these fans are the same people who think lara is a much better fighter than canelo.

Canelo vs Angulo was criticized because Angulo hasn't done **** to deserve that fight. If he beats Lara , who's number 1 contender ,then he earns the spot.

 

Good contrasting styles match-up between two somewhat decent fighters.
