My biggest issue with GGG and his fans is they basically say none of the top guys want to fight Golovkin let's have Ishida come up, wouldn't it make more sense to try to get Golovkin fights with guys like Lara and Trout at their weight.

Lara started his career at 160 and fought Williams at that weight, wouldn't be a big deal for him to move up again. Anyway it's all academic because he's scheduled to fight Angulo and he wants to become WBC mandatory.

  3. There is NOBODY in the game right now that can beat Triple G. NOBODY. So with that said, nope.

He said he'd drop down for the winner of Canelo Trout. It wouldn't make sense for him to drop down to fight just any contender, but he'd probably give them a catchweight like Rosado was offered.

I pick GGG, but Lara is good. GGG is getting a little overrated. Let's see how he does vs. the cream or the crop fighters before we say he is the next Marvin Hagler or Carlos Monzon.

If Lara doesn't get his belt for whatever reason , I'm sure he's willing to fight ggg, just like he was willing to fight Kirkland at the time he looked to be a freak from another planet. But Lara is focused on his jr middleweight title shot.

Ishida challenged Dmitry Pirog for the WBO Middleweight title in his previous fight and fought Paul Williams before that. The guy always gives a good account of himself and is a very underrated fighter (he proved that when he made quick work of Kirkland)

Golovkin is the Middleweight champion, why would he have to move down? besides he said he would move up to fight Andre Ward if given the chance and Andre Ward apparently is interested (aswell as a rematch with Froch and a fight with Chavez Jr) so id rather see that but I wouldnt say no to a fight with Lara at 160, and before you say "oh golovkin should fight lara at 154" again, Lara is not a champion, Golovkin is.

Golovkin stops Lara in 5, Stops Trout in 8 and Canelo has only just started fighting Light Middleweights . . . . . he aint fighting no Middleweights just yet, especially ones that are ****ing good

My bad it was Ronald Hearns that he fought above 154.

Ishida beat Kirkland up at 160, not Kirkland's natural weightclass of 154.
He lost clearly and overwhelmingly to PWill at 154.
He lost to Pirog at 160.
He is really a nice game dude but nothing special, if you are good you should beat him.

I don't understand GGG fighting blown up 154 fighters after each other, there are 160 fighters out there for him.

And he did call out Pirog after Pirog's people made that huge offer to Sergio. But he's not even big at SWW, and really no reason to move up unless he's blacklisted at SWW.

Golovkin isnt that well promoted and the top fighters want nothing to do with him

Sturm had to buy the Super belt just to avoid Golovkin
Geale dropped the WBA to avoid him
    Quillin wants nothing of Golovkin

To say Ishida was overwhelmed by Williams proves you didnt even watch the fight, Ishida had his moments in that fight

Golovkin boasts amateur victories over Dirrell and Bute (a knockout victory)

    Keep on hating buddy :|
