Lara is willing to face anyone, have to give him respect for that. That he runs from his opponent is a different story. Anyways, a great pressure fighter knows how to cut the ring off and corner his opponents, not just follow him like a punching bag, GGG does get hit, but is not a punching bag. I really do hope a fight like this gets made, boosts both of their resumes. Lara won't be easy for anyone. I think he's a threat to anyone up to 168.

If Lara were serious about this fight he would move to MW. He is staying at JMW for a reason.

Lara may be one of the top 10 runners of all time but Triple G would still cut the ring off and knock him out.

If GGG was serious about fighting Lara, he wouldn't have ducked him. Lara said he'd go to 160 to fight him

Unlike Canelo, GGG knows how to cut the ring. And also unlike Canelo, GGG has true fight ending power.

This isn't close. Lara gets wrecked.

Yet Lara's next fight is at 154lbs.
Lara had 3 options to fight GGG on HBO, back when he was doing all that talking:
    1. Move to 160 and leave Al Haymon:)rofl)
    2. Move to 160 and get himself into mandatory position and force purse bids
    3. Move to 160 and get another belt and hope HBO puts him on their network to unify.

Lara didn't do any of those things because he was just talking on twitter.

the hell? No I have never said that. The only guys GGG has ducked imo is Ward and Lara. Ward I give him a pass for because he's got legal issues and he's at 168. Lara offered to actually come to GGG's weight class to fight him

Lara is better than anybody GGG has fought and has an even better resume than GGG. GGG could have taken the fight, but his team ducked.

How does GGG duck a guy whos management never made an offer or attempt? K2 told Lara what he had to do to make the fight - get it cleared with his own management and HBO. A fighter needs to have his team actually make at least a small attempt to make a fight, not just mouth off on twitter knowing it wont happen to even be considered for the possibility of a duck on the other guys part.

It would certainly be a better fight then the Canelo fight. Golovkin has the tools to cut off the ring and the power and timing to stop him whereas Canelo didn't.
They gotta get in the ring for us to know. Great fight.
