Two great slick fighters..... One, maybe the best defensive minded slickster since Prime Mayweather, the other, a great offensive slickster like Mosley. Who wins this battle.... The defensive whiz Lara, or the great boxer, NDam???
I got Lara. NDam sometimes lets himself get off balance and I think lara could counter and drop him a time or two and really take control from the back foot. Though, NDam will win at least 5 rds behind his 1-2.:thumbsup
N'Dam would box circles around Lara, bad style match up for him, too much lateral movement even for Lara.
N'Dam has never been in a match with scores that wide against him, even when he gets dropped 6 times. BTW why have you bailed on the League?
Prime Paul Williams won like 4 rounds vs Lara, I don't think N'Dam can do any better than that. I'll join the league next year, it's no fun when you have no chance to win.
You could still catch and surpass Bustajay and make to a top 25 spot. Williams was an aggressive volume puncher, N'Dam is anything but, N'Dam is essentially a retreating very fast volume counter puncher, that's a hellish style for Lara to have to deal with and he doesn't have Quillin and Lemieux's power to be a great equalizer.
NDam comes forward behind the jab when he's not being pushed backwards by power shots. Even in the fights with Lemiuex and Quillin he pushed the tempo with the jab and the cross. I know you know your boxing, so I don't understand why you'd lump NDam into a very similar circle as is Lara.(Plus the volume) He tends to get more volume and less CPing against less dangerous guys, ie the one's he's beaten.:good
I don't lump him in with Lara, he's a lot more versatile, I should have been more specific, I was distracted while typing that with Xmas shopping on another page I had open., but I was just imagining the fight in my head I don't think he would fight like he fought against Lemieux and Quillin against Lara, I just happen think he'd fight him more like he fought Stevens and Khurtsidze, circling to Lara's right and peppering him with his jab more of a baiting aggressive counter puncher role, instead of potentially playing into the superior counter puncher's hands. I was mainly trying to point out why Williams did so poorly.
