He's basically said he'll take 1 offs (ie money fights) at 154, but Lara doesn't really bring much, and GGGs the bigger draw so it'd be 160. FWIW Lara doesn't give up much weight in the ring to Golovkin anyway. Unfortunately Golden Boys can't be Good Boys right now so there ain't much chance of this, but it'd be a fight I'd like to see.
It is all but a done deal that it will be Lee. Lara knows this and is throwing out this orchestrated "challenge" to keep his name on everyone's collective conscience. All this posturing will do is give the ******s ammo to claim Golovkin is ducking Lara. It is really a ***** move from Lara. Challenging someone you know that is basically booked up for their next 2-3 fights. Isn't Lara also with ShOWTIME?
Outside of mayweather, Lara is the only one I give a good shot to beat ggg. @160 edge to g to third power. @154 it could go Lara's way but if he won could lure Floyd into a fight.

sure he does, he is trying to build his brand outside the ring thinking it will make him a bigger name. i guarantee once GGG looks into int lara will be blah blah blah and it will never come close to being made. he would be ruined by GGG, well not ruined just KO'd quick. Angulo smothered Lara. GG cuts the ring off a lot better and brings a better arsenal of shots with more power.
Lara works too much in a straight line to set up his 1-2 combo. He is way too predictable with it and GGG would knock him out with a left hook guaranteed.
