yes i agree golovkin would be the favourite,but lara would be the first world class opponent for golovkin.

golovkin has couple of years time probably before he starts to slow down,then golovtards will open the "prime" golovkin card.

golovkin resume has names rosada,ishida,macklin,stevens,adama that some bull**** right there,for man who claims to fight anybody 154-168 and many praises him as almost "MW GOAT"

 

Golovkin would knock Lara out cold........................Lara can't bring the money to the table, but Chavez can.............

 

I like Lara and think he made the callout in good faith, but that's worth nothing when GBP fighters are still not welcome on HBO. And if they relax that, doubt they'll do it over someone like Lara who's an afterthought even for GBP. i dont think he'd have a decent chance vs GGG, but I do believe he'd be willing to fight him and is not just bluffing behind Showtime cover.

Lara just tweeted, he did not try to get the fight made. He was just trying to get his name out there. He is a good fighter, but was almost taken out by Angulo who is also a come forward fighter but nowhere near Golovkin's level.

Last I checked the Chavez fight is at 168. Golovkin was offered a fight worth having at a different weight and he accepted.

Right now GGG has Chavez, and Murray looking lined up for immediate future. Murray signed with Golden Gloves SA which has a good working relationship with K2 and they want a fight.

Noone is calling him Hagler, but a schedule of a former MW title holder at bigger weight , and a top5 MW contender is perfectly respectable.

 

Everybody that watched the Angulo-fight should know that GGG would kill Lara.

GGG should fight Lara. It's a much easier fight than Chavez.

I think people will criticize GGG for fighting a smaller man, but if I were GGG, I would fight Lara before Chavez.
