Lara wants Martinez

I like Lara. Dude's maybe one of the most avoided boxer right now, he has been calling out basically everyone possible for 2 years now but only a few guys accepted to fight him. I hope Martinez accepts the fight (and gets his ass kicked)

 

It took a solid middleweight in sturm 7 rounds to tko hearns and lara made it look easy,the way martinez has been looking lately,i see lara schooling him and possibly getting a stoppage ,because martinez is reckless at times.

 

Lara beats everybody at 154 except Floyd.

 

There's a reason why Lara aint considered Cotto....b/c he'd be schooled, then KTFO.:deal

And Hearns found out his chin was china 3 losses ago. This win is no better than Fury KOing Owen Beck.(not that Beck is a china chin, but he don't have the will to win.):-(

Lara is looking for any opportunity to prove that he is elite. Martinez is one of the few that will give him a good scrap. I had the pleasure of meeting Erislandy and Ronnie last night, along with Jermaine. I told Ronnie he really has something special in Lara. He said,"I know, and that's why theses guys won't fight him. Erislandy is a very nice guy. Its hard to dislike him seeing how humble he is. Very cool people.

 

I really want to see Lara get the biggest fights possible; he can most likely clear up at 154

 

Hearns sucks and using that fight as a basis for judging how Lara would do in future fights makes no sense whatsoever. This really shouldn't have elevated Lara in the eyes of anyone.

 

Well that is very ambitious of him but come on guys.

Martinez is on another level. I can see Lara having some success early on until Martinez goes Super Sayan on him and stops him. This would be a great fight though. Since Lara will make Martinez come to him and cause him discomfort.

This is an extremely high risk extreme low reward for Martinez though. He would get no credit whatsoever. Lara just needs to step it up gradually and stop fighting 1 every 6 months. Get his name out there.

 

I'm happy to see Lara vs anybody right now....Cotto/Canelo/Kirkland/Martinez/Molina/Williams

I'm still not 100% sure about him as he was just OK in the Molina fight but if he can put on a performance like he did yesterday consistantly I think he gives ANYONE trouble.

The manner of Lara's victory last night will have the TV networks putting pressure on promoters to book him if they want coveted TV dates. He obviously came to fight and closed the show which is what they are looking for.
