I’m not complaining as I won £200 but you reap what you sow. Warrington looked dreadful at the weight and I don’t think they even thought Lara was any sort of threat.

 

That the issue, they though Lara wasn’t a threat, why was he not properly checkout before hand?

 

Them punches couldnt hurt a fly, even his technique was nullifying power, its was area level boxing.

A1 weasel.

 

Records and rankings get read into too much in boxing. Doesnt matter how good you are theres always someone out there that has your number

 

Someone might be running away with a lot of money if they knew the Mexican fighter could bang like that. I called something fishy after the faux outrage the fight before. The second I saw that left hook land in the first I had my suspicions confirmed. I don't gamble so dont have a betting app. But my mate saw it from the first and got 18/1 on the KO. He only slapped 5 on it.

 

People complain about Hearn putting on lopsided cards and now complain when the favourite loses and saying he shouldn’t have been “matched” with him.

 

Aye and the whole "aw the judges cards were shocking" shpiel after every robbery simply isn't good enough..shameful stuff.

 

Isn't this what we want?

Don't see it as bad matchmaking. A guy ranked #1 losing to Lara isn't down to bad matchmaking.

 

Its bad matchmaking when its put together as a fight you expect the A side to breeze through

Its competitive when the fighter and promotion know theres a challenge on both sides

Matchroom and Warrington clearly didnt see Lara as such

Its awful matchmaking

 

Clever though

Deflects the abuse to an extent away from him over to the untouchables at the British Board

 

Good, very entertaining fights and a good card/night of boxing.

That's good making from a fans perspective.
