Why :huh? Lara is packing that Cuban china, it's not unlikely that he'll be hitting the deck in this one.
still a toss up for me giving the edge to Lara just cus i like he style better and he. only thing im worried about is Canelos weight come fight night dude will be 175+. other than that left hands and angles all night for Lara with possible KDs inbetween by either man. im excited for this fight. still bs its not at 154lbs for the title... fat ass canelo cant make wieght
Lara is going to do to Canelo what he did to Paul Williams. Hopefully, the judges won't turn in the same type performance.
i don't care who wins as long as it's a good fight and ends in a brutal ko. too close to call the victor.
leaning towards lara by decision. have to pay close attention to drainelo's weigh in. he could come over weight which would tilt the favor towards him.
i must admit lara cant fight going forward he looks confused vs molina because he was made to go forward at times looked like his rhythm was offset
i dont think it will be completely one - sided, canelo will win some rounds canelo has a good jab and that will freeze lara when canelo throws it but i just dont think canelo can be active enough and his foot movement is nowhere near lara's
Lara is much too reliant on his straight left hand. That isn't going to win it for him against Canelo. He's going to need to mix it up more than that but I don't know if he's able to. Lara holds his hands much too low too often during his fights. He'll throw a combo, then spin out with his hands down. He is there to be countered. Canelo is a good counter puncher and is accurate. If Angulo can catch him, no doubt Canelo can. Canelo might be troubled with the speed and movement the first few rounds, but, he's just got to be patient and try and close distance and get the fight on the inside and then he can take over. Unfortunately, Canelo isn't that great at closing distance and isn't very fleet of foot. He really isn't very good at moving forward whilst punching. He likes to be set to punch. That could be a problem. But, with that said, Lara isn't good at staying off the ropes. I do not believe he can stay off the ropes for 12 rounds. That is when Canelo can capitalize. Lara is not a good inside fighter and prefers to operate with his hands up as opposed to trading punchers. Canelo is a good inside fighter and lets off good combos when he's in close. I think that is what will eventually happen in this fight--Canelo will be able to get inside one too many times and Lara will fade and eventually be stopped in the late rounds.
I'm leaning towards Lara here. I think Canelo's best chance is to show a lack of respect and try to grind Lara down. If he doesn't get him out of there within 6 or 7 rounds he may well late in the fight. If Canelo tries to outbox Lara then there's no question he loses. If Canelo doesn't go into this fight thinking he will knock Lara out he will not win. He needs to get to Lara early and let him know he can hurt him or box with him and pile on the pressure late, but I'm not that sold in his stamina, so the latter is unlikely. Lara by decision, but it's a tough one to call!
