Canelo Decision

There is a good likelihood that Alvarez deserves the nod, and of all the scenarios where Lara deserves the nod the most likely one to happen is the one where Alvarez still gets the victory. Picking Alvarez to win is the right call and most likely to happen, in my opinion.

 

I agree with most of jas' assessment. I might nitpick a few points, but overall it's good stuff. I think there is a chance that Canelo could catch Lara moving along or spinning off the ropes with his right open, but overall, I favor Lara to win this fight. If Canelo wins it will be by a stoppage or a decision robbery, IMO. I think if these two fought 10 fight times, Lara would win 7 of them. Given Lara is the underdog and has a good chance to win, I'm going to roll with Lara on the gambling side of things.

Canelo is gonna come steaming I think, he will have learned from the May fight
that his boxing wont work but more of an aggressive role has to be taken to beat Lara.

Lara's chin is suspect and you can debate weather Angulo was on form when he fought Lara and not not when he fought Canelo, fact is he is still slow and doesn't have the power Canelo has or speed, Canelo works Lara within 7 rds.

(Side note) dont be surprised if Lara pulls some dirty **** during his whooping.
