Well I really hope it does happen. Lara and his team aren't willing to fight on HBO though so it won't. I'm not a Golovkin nut hugger, I'd like to see him tested but I think Canelo style wise has more tools to make it a hard fight for Golovkin and even he wouldn't trouble him much.
Cotto-Canelo are fighting for the MW title, GGG is the mandatory and all 3 of them can fight on HBO but Golovkin is just picking on little fighters there. Golovkin needs to fight 154lb PBC fighter Lara This is their "logic":rofl You know that if the fight ever got made, they would be the first ones on here crying about Lara is just a 154lb fighter and GGG is just beating up Canelo's leftovers after Lara got KO'd. They are completely see through
Exactly, blaming Triple G for wanting to fight the winner of Canelo/Cotto who are fighting for the lineal title in his own division. Both have committed to fighting at the MW and should be expected to face the best especially when they are mandated to. As for Lara, I don't see how that fight can happen anyway since he's a Haymon fighter fighting on PBC. If it could happen, then Triple G wouldn't mind taking him on as a stay busy fight because lets be honest he'll be schooled easily by the best MW in the world. If you think Triple G is afraid of a 154 pound fighter who lost to Williams and Alverez(even though I had it a draw) and drew against a couple of no name fighters, you haven't been paying attention.
Nobody GGG has beat has ever beaten a World Class fighter ever, and in some opinions Lara should have a win over Alvarez. If GGG is so unbeatable what's the point in him even fighting, I fu(king hate Lara's style but being real you put his accomplishments or his WBA JMW title up next to Golovkin opponents and its obvious he's better than what GGG has faced.
Lara had a really close fight with Canelo, while GGG would totally destroy the guy. Canelo knows that which is why his body is suddenly not ready for the MW.
No one will stop GGG at middle .not out of third gear yet .won't be stopped till the is forced up in weight through lack of opposition.
I don't mind this fight that much. Lot of people don't like Lara's style and that's understandable. But if he faces Golovkin, he'll have to engage. He could only "run" for so long. GGG will find him and force him to trade. And when that happens, it will be exciting, for however long it lasts.
Lara went life and death with caveman Angulo. Golovkin either stops him late or UD. Lara will run so much and not be able to land anything. Only reason he had some success with Canelo was because of his horrible footwork and cement feet.
