Large size differences through the era's

    Giants have been in the game throughout the years, maybe the smaller Heavyweights should get more skilled....

    Disagree. We should be looking to get back to the original 8-10 divisions. All these titles water down the talent pool and make owning a title less meaningful as their are so many of them. In terms of hwts there is a long history of smaller hwts beating the heck out of larger ones. I would not alter the game simply because we are going through such a poor era that size now dictates who wins major hwt bouts. This era will pass, steroids will become a thing of the past and the division will gravitate back to normalcy.

    i researched a bit of hein ten hoff a while ago.....was getting reports online of anywhere between 6.3" and 6.6"......but newspaper clippings seem to suggest in the middle..found one stating 6 feet 4.5 inches.

    That's the one I was thinking about. What a dreary bout. White's career sure dissolved after that one. Dropped overnight to penny stock value. Kind of like one of those fights that relegate a guy to sparring partner status.

    Kind of always thought that's what the potential Wilt Chamberlain--Muhammad Ali bout would have looked like, at best.
