A lot of morons on here are pretending that Fury would have no chance against a man who struggled against Witherspoon, Norton, Shavers, Snipes, Weaver, and Williams, and ultimately lost to a LHW.
Fury whoops prime homes ass with ease. Holmes beats AJ but that's not saying much Holmes is the weakest of the "legendary heavyweights", there's dozens of guys who whoop his overrated ass

Larry gonna Larry. He's okay, just a perennial buzzkill when it comes to fighters who aren't called Larry Holmes.
Sometimes past sports stars can get annoyed at the vast wealth and fame that comes to those at the top of the tree these days. Not that Larry didn't get handsomely rewarded, but maybe he looks at AJ banking a reported 60m for a fight and gets narked that he's not in the current division? Plus if he talks them down he's implicitly talking himself up. Could just be ego, which in itself is almost a required component for a champion boxer.
He said he had Cooney beating Larry in score cards. Hard to see him being big fan of Holmes with that kinda score
Holmes is always attacking and taking a swipe at whoever is the top HW boxer. He's just a very arrogant, bitter, lonely old man.
People should remember something about this guy, and one that sticks out like a ? Holmes described Wladimir Klitschko as "a phoney champion" and he was glad to see the division regain some momentum through the Ukrainian's demise at the hands of Fury late last year. In contrast he described Parker as "a real fighter". This guy is just bizarre he self admitted he had no right hand so how can he call those guys amateur fighters ? The fact he digs in Klitschko and raved how great Parker was is like holding a grenade and pulling the pin and standing there as if nothing’s going to happen .
