Magoo, thta's funny. Mine is coming in within a few weeks. Silver, black leather interior. How does it drive? How did you find the visibility?
Holmes may be building a bigger gym and selling that one or he is tired...Holmes was too crafty with money to be broke but his hotel has to be hurting with the economy and some of his real estate and rentals are down. Holmes was frugal compared to Tyson and Ali and he made some serious money, so I think he is fine money wise
For looks and complement sake, I like the Camero... But, for practicality and comfort, I like my Charger. The Camero handles very nicely and has a snazzy interior look... Even though its rear wheel drive, the new traction control system makes the handling a lot better.. As for comfort, well I was fine driving it as long as I wasn't sitting for more than maybe 30-45 minutes.. One day, me, my wife, friend, and his spouse all went to the beach in Wilmington NC... It was about a 2 hour drive.... The speed limit on some of there highways is about 75 MPH in some areas down there.... It was nice getting some going in that car.... Which trim are you getting? Are getting the 6.2 litre V-8?
Brilliant, for promoting his car, Holmes made 3 pictures of exactly the same angle. http://www.larryholmes.com/Larrys_Car.html Magoo, do all American cars have engines that big? Here in Holland (and most of Europe, except for Germany), cars rarely have more than 3 liter engines, or they're very expensive or very old. The latter in my case. Also, Holland has a shitload of taxes on gas. A liter (1/4th gallon) of petrol costs about 1.35-1.45 euro, which is 1.94 dollar.. so, we pay 7.76 dollar per gallon...
No, absolutely not... Such companies as Chevrolet and Ford make 4 cylinder engines as well.. 6 cylinders are probably most popular, but if you're like Stonehands and myself, and like to show off your ***** size, you get an 8 cylinder with power.... Gas is very expensive here, but I still only use top grade premium fuel in my baby. Incidentally, I wonder why Holmes would want to sell a Benz that's barely two years old.
Exactly. He's just selling off some assets is all. When the other guys try selling off their assets it's near the end of the ballgame, but the guys that handle money well do sell assets from time to time.
I see... By the way, if Holmes really was in financial trouble, i think he'd be looking to sell his real estate, like Holyfield does (or tries).
Nah, I ordered 2 LT with the 3.6 L, V6 engine. I like cars that look mean and elegant. I'm not well-read with engines and I won't drive a manual. If the thing breaks down, I call AAA. I won't even change a tire because I don't want to mess up my pants. This one is a bit unlike me, but the moment I got a look at the front end, I said "gotta have it." This content is protected Thanks for letting me know about how it handles. I was a bit worried about the rear wheel drive... particularly because of the snow we get up here in Massachusetts.
I'm not sure exactly, the other day he looked to be driving some sort of high end mercedes, but it was dark out and he was just driving by as we were pulling out of the gym so I couldn't tell. Nice car by the way.
I like how Larry Holmes kept a low profile even in his prime.... It probably did cause him to lose out on some endorsements, but it also kept him outta jail, as well....... He knew better than to go bar / club hopping with homies and playing "Grab-Ass" with cocktail waitresses, etc....... See the moron 'Mike Tyson' for proof......... Though Larry Holmes did do a KFC commercial back in the early 1980s......... MR.BILL
Nice car my man..... I love the silver exterior the best as well... Yeah, I think you said that you live in Mass. Not a great town for sports cars, but then neither is Northern Illinois. With only a six banger though, you should be better off than having an eight cylinder in the snow.. The traction control did well on wet pavement after a hard rain storm, but I don't know how it does on snow and ice.. I do see a lot of people driving them around here right now, and I can say that January sucks in the midwest, so maybe they're okay for winter. My charger as an all wheel drive function as well as traction control, and handles like a dream... Love that car..
Yes hes fine financially.....He said he just wants to retire from it...btw when you own a comm prop after 27.5 there arent anymore tax benefits so I think that may be a reason also.
He's fine. He just wants to get rid of the stuff he doesn't want to pay upkeep for. He put the Holmes Plaza up for sale years ago.
