Love how these people will verbally bash a legend of the sport just because their opinion differs from theirs. There's just no respect these days

Larry didn't face a lot of live contenders to remain unbeaten and he could have lost that undefeated streak against Tim Witherspoon but won a controversial split decision, never faced Pinklon Thomas and fought a whole lot of bums too. Happens that Larry is a legend and he sees that Pacquiao is willing to fight Floyd but Floyd keeps on badmouthing him, risking other legal problems in doing so and basically tryin to postpon it to the point people are not willing to negociate with him or with his people. fair to say the least. Larry took that last risk at an advanced age when he faced Bonecrusher Smith and Michael Spinks and the greatest of them all Tyson but Floyd is also running risks in facing Hoya, Hatton, Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto but he's not taking the biggest risk which would most probably give him the biggest and ultimate reward.

Both Larry Holmes and Marvin Hagler both say the same thing. They both fought everyone they could and know the sport.

Eddie Mustafa Muhammad(for those of you who even know who he is) has given his opinion on the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight and he feels the complete opposite of Holmes and Hagler.

Is he telling the truth? Is he telling it like it is?

Muhammad wasn't a legend. At least in the vain of Hagler or Holmes.

So let me see if I can understand you correctly. Because Eddie isn't considered a legend that means his opinion means nothing? That means he's not telling the truth? That means he's not telling it like it is? All because he doesn't have legendary status even though he is an old skool fighter.

Is that what your saying? Choose your words wisely.

Dude retired to avoid pacquiao. Then made up a fake test.
Fell asleep during Mosley fight did the chicken dance and retired again.
Sucka punched out of a TUNE UP! Then offers ZERO % of the PPV revenue.
Floyd never faced an A level prime boxer ever!
If you were a painter and wanted to paint Floyd in his best fight it would be a tail end of his career ODLH. Just saying.

Cotto will probably give him fits. He would never face pacman or anything close.
One love to fans of both and boxing in general.

Never gonna happen and the resumes and activity tell the story for the future fans.

Holmes is right, Mayweather seems afraid to fight Manny. So I'l;l be brave for him; Mayweather W12 Pacquaio, that's my prediction and I'm sticking to it.

You ain't lyin'. I think Floyd must have walked past him without acknowledging him. We all know Holmes is still salty as hell for the critics not giving him his just due. Damn! Him and Floyd have a lot in common.
