After a great many years I think the fire is now dead, or it should be to any intelligent person. I posted a quote by Holmes the other day stating he trained through the injury and overcome it.

So at this point it's redundant. Holmes did injure his bicep, Holmes did take the risk and trained through the pain etc, and it didn't affect his performance via his own words.

Every angle at this point is irrefutably confirmed and or put to bed.

He won a lot easier then people tell everyone… there is 100% a reason they’re saying it was so close…. Anyways, Holmes said he was injured he also said it had no impact on the fight and was very minor (it’s in his book) just thought I’d chime in.

Holmes talks about it in his book said he was injured but it didn’t effect the fight, talks about how minor it was.

The second half of the fight got very tough, & a lot more competitive. It’s easy to see why that takes over as a lasting impression. Holmes was pushed hard physically the back half, & probably lost more rounds than he won. But while he wasn’t quite dominating the first half of the fight, he was clearly winning the vast majority of that half. Norton just took too long to get going. It was a fairly close fight, but I’ve never seen it as a squeaker.

I don’t claim any of Holmes’ closest fights were robberies, I have him in my top 10 of all-time, I pick him against several greats. I don’t know what else you can ask from someone, frankly.

Hate doesn’t have to equal bias.

I think you’re a bit of a fool for hating Holmes when you fawn over Foreman… not sure how that works but frankly I don’t care.
Yep last few seconds of a round always leave a big mark on judges when you’re in as good condition as Norton you usually get those, same as the last few rounds, when a fight is good it’s easy to get swept up in it but IMO it was just a very clear lively fight for Larry.

Frazier is my favourite fighter, at any weight, of all-time. I’m invested in ranking Foreman highly. Hate doesn’t have to equal bias but love sure does!

Holmes would get stopped by Canelo at this point.

He would probably lose to Inoue at this point, maybe by KO.

Fun fact about Desert Springs Hospital: When my favorite rapper Tupac Shakur was shot, and mortally wounded, he was about 2 miles away from Desert Springs and headed in that direction, however in a panic, the driver (his manager) Suge busted a U-turn, got pulled over, was forced to get out of his car at gunpoint, and engaged in an argument with the officers. By the time they made it to the hospital, nearly an hour had passed.

Had Suge just kept going straight, they would've made it to the hospital far quicker and Tupac would've most likely survived.

If there is a top ranked Nursing Care facility in the area, my money's on Larry ducking it.
