    I have never seen a website in general complain about so much though. It's not all of you, but a few are just hellbent to rip a fighters resume up to shreds, and take away any acheivements. I should have expected the comments that were posted, but still, WTF? What the have these people ever done to deserve that? They are members of church, contribute a ton to charity, are great people, and you go and rip them up. It's disgusting really.

    I am certain Larry Holmes doesn't need me to defend his family, but it is disappointing this thread should descend into drivel such as the above. I am equally certain many more fans wish Larry and his family nothing but the best.

    I'm not calling his granddaughter a slut, although maybe she is, who knows :huh

    But the fact remains it is a family patern to have a child before 20, I wasnt critisizing the man.

    Anyway good for him, I wish I had a family, I was expecting a kid once but my wife lost it :|

    I know, and she isn't. She was a leading high school track runner and was one of the best in the country. Scholarships were lined up for her, then she made a mistake.

    First, Congratulations to Larry and his family.

    I have been a fan of his for a long time.

    As far as criticism of his granddaugher, that is disgraceful and

    tells us more about YOU than it does about her.

    Verbally attacking a 17 year old women is not appreciated by

    myself or by many of the posters here.
