What does my view of Anthony Joshua have to do with compiling a list of 17 P4Pers over the last 50 years who I'd rate above Larry Holmes in a P4P rating?

Any list of P4Pers from 1996 wouldn't include guys from the 1990s and 2000s and 2010s who are synonymous with winning titles in multiple divisions, including Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao, Felix Trinidad, Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, De La Hoya, Mosley, Toney, Morales, Marquez, Cotto, Loma, Ward and on and on and on. Hell, even Mikey Garcia is a four-division champ.

The last quarter century was the era of multiple-division champs. Prior to 1990s, not so much.

True, I don't think it was realistic to fight Ali just 2 years into his career. The way 'most' heavyweights of the last 50 or so years normally got their shots at the title about 4 years into there career. I certainly seemed a similar pattern emerging, especially with the ones that are considered 'great' in the divisions more modern history.

OK I just feel AJ`s knowledge of boxing is a lot better than most other fighters.
