    I thought Holmes may have won against Nielsen but he was unable to stop Nielsen's bullrushes with his jab.

    The pace Foreman was able to set against Savarese and Briggs was impressive for a 47 year old man. Holmes on the other hand took rounds off and spent time against the ropes to conserve energy.

    I feel Foreman would simply outwork him.

    There, of course, is the chance for a very boring fight. If Foreman really
    went for it, I see no chance for Holmes.

    Foreman-Briggs is an awesome fight for Big George. Being able to outbox a guy who would win a title a decade later at his age is perhaps unmatched in all of fighting history. Briggs got the decision, but George should of got the nod, truly special.

    Strong performance and a gift in disguise. If George kept fighting he would have eventually gotten hurt. The fact he stopped like he did, never going down or seriously hurt , still standing between rounds, is a huge part of his legend.

    Exactly! IF George had gotten the decision over Briggs, he would have fought Lennox Lewis next for the title. George would have taken some punishment in that fight!
