Larry was in excellent shape against Mike, something like 225 pounds, not as mobile as against Spinks ( the second fight) but he would never be caught by Chagaev's volley punching and most probably would give him a beating on right handers - Larry by TKO inside 9.

UD holmes. although i agreed pre Wlad/Chag with your basic assessment of chagaev as being way overrated (he's solid, nothing special), you're obsessed with pointing out what a bum he is

Holmes looked pathetic and old against Tyson. His jab was gone and he was in terrible condition, having been out of the ring for so long.

Holmes UD, maybe a knock down on the way. Holmes' knockout percentage was lower in his comeback years, I think he lost a step or two in terms of stamina.

    that's what I thought everytime
    I saw simple comparison.
we can't evaluate boxers on just age.
though I don't think chagaev win too.

    What are you smoking? :-(
Larry ran away for most of the fight, he didn't want anything to do with Tyson's power. So losing every round and running scared is your definition of outboxing a clearly stronger fighter - interesting...:think
