He actually unified the belts, so there’s that.

Also did not drag a LHW up for his record title defence.

I'll take Lewis. Holmes would have a technical edge but I'm not sure that it would be enough to compensate for Lewis' size and power advantage, nor for his ability to turn it up a notch when he really needed to.

    Lennox on points.

He was both better and greater than Holmes in my opinion.

Agreed Sir, and for much of the same reasons. Lewis likely by UD or late stoppage.

Holmes out boxes and out guts Lewis for a UD. More skill, more heart. Enough to offset the size.

This is one match up where I have trouble picking the winner. I slightly favor Lewis by decision.

    True dat.

No disrespect intended at all, but I reallllly don't see eye to eye with the "easily" part of this. I think it's arguable that Holmes in his prime had far higher ring IQ than Lewis (even with Steward), and a significantly better jab. Holmes also had a really good uppercut...it was the closest thing he had to a power punch.

I don’t think Lewis would respect his power. Which would be bad for Larry. Lewis by KO. Mid rounds. Can see Holmes stealing a round or two

That doesn't mean #### to me. It's about who's the better fighter and if you understand boxing and the science of it you know it's Holmes hands down.

Very true, Larry Holmes did not use Modern (Steroids) Nutrition in the 1980's, no body naturally can grow to the modern sizes naturally.

I'd go with the Lion to defeat the Easton Assassin via SD in a very tactical fight.

Lennox beat every man he ever faced in the pro ring. Larry didnt. Lennox was the best since his idol Muhammad Ali
