Does Larry win? Does Jerry have a shot?

Jerry defeats Gerry, but Gerry maybe pulls an upset on Jerry, you never know with Jerry and Gerry had nights off.

On the other side, I am positive Larry blasts Jerry and Gerry.

Holmes is a very heavy favorite here. I can’t think of any good reason to favor Quarry.

Replay of the first Ali vs Quarry fight, Jerry is too short and doesnt have the reach. Holmes pastes him with the jab.

Jerry is best against aggressors by quite a way. It's a bad matchup for him.

This has to be a record of useless threads at this point.

Holmes wins by stoppage, at some point during the championship rounds, after a fairly one-sided affair.

Holmes at his best was certainly no worse than the rusty immediately post-exile Ali who fought Quarry. I see very little chance for Quarry here.

Quarry gets ripped up bad. Even in his prime he wouldn't make it 8.

Lol, I was about to type exactly the same thing.

Ali showed that, despite Quarry’s notable skills, he could literally be outclassed by an appreciably taller and better reached fighter who knew exactly how to maximise those advantages.

Larry would (or could) sit on the jab for as long as it took before opening it up more when Jerry was sufficiently softened up.

Jerry could hang and compete for a time with the similarly dimensioned Frazier whose will, durability and power ultimately won the day.

Ali and Holmes could slice and dice Jerry from a relatively safe and remote vantage point.

Jerry doesn't get close enough to be effective...Holmes wasn't pretty but he was smart at controlling the distance...the problem is Jerry has to beat Larry at his game and he doesn't have the speed.....he stops Jerry on cuts
