Who you got winning this prime vs prime, boxer vs puncher fantasy fight? I will say 48:0 HW legend Easton Assassin wins 8/10 times vs the big dosser. He schooled Shavers twice and had enough chin to get up from a brutal KD delivered by Earnie and this gives me the confidence he will pull through against Wilder.

Wilder jabs his nut off and cruises to a decision victory. Holmes only has a punchers chance

Larry Holmes was a masterful boxer. I believe that he would control the ring movement, pace, and trajectory of the match with the jab. He would move away from the big right hand of Wilder. Wilder's unorthodox movements and style wouldn't cause him much problems and Holmes drags him into the deep end by the sheer force of his overall talent. Wilder would look similar to what he did against Fury. Meaning that if they fought 24 rounds, Wilder might pull out 2 of those rounds with knockdowns.

Holmes knocks him out within six.

Holmes lateral movement with the jab and a hard right behind it would keep him safe from Wilders right which requires space if you aren't coming directly at him like Szpilka was.

Wilder sends Larry into outer space like Tyson did

Larry stops him or puts on a 12-0 clinic.

Hasn't Wilder proven by now that he doesn't need "space" to generate fight ending power?

People also underestimate Holme's speed. He was pretty fast.

Prime Holmes was legit. Wilder has a remote chance but I’d take Larry without a doubt.

Holmes has the right requirements to beat Wilder. He has one of the best ever jabs, he has competitive reach and size and he possesses a fierce mean streak along with extreme confidence. Of course, Wilder always has a puncher's chance at the least but, in this case, that's all he has.

Holmes by mid to late round KO or TKO.

It would end the same as the Tyson fight.
Holmes would dance and probe around and then Wilder would land and finish him.
No way Holmes is harder to hit than Fury.
