    I largely agree but it only takes one slight off night for Holmes to be upset vs Lewis or Bowe or even a tricky southpaw like Moorer for that matter.

    Remember Holmes faced talented competition between 1978-83 but from then on, he was avoiding Pinklon Thomas and rematching Witherspoon.

    If he were to face Bowe multiple times like Holyfield did, Moorer, Lewis, etc. etc. he is bound to have one or 2 off nights.

    But overall i largely agree with you. I have Holmes at #3 and Holyfield at #7.

    I think it's Larry Holmes. Much better record, more saves, much more stable, undefeated in his prime, almost as good at the age of 42 as 30-year-old Holyfield.
    Certainly, Evander's career was more media-related, more dramatic and featured more high-profile fights. Larry's career was a bit boring.
