Joshua would be eating Holmes jab all night.

What happens when Joshua hits the much smaller Holmes back?

Joshua is probably capable of taking Holmes shots all night if he wants but I doubt the reverse is true

The size gap from Holmes weight to Joshua's in far less important than the type of gap between Charles and Holmes. Holmes and Ali would comfortably hang with the bigger slower men.

Fortunately, it wouldn't take all night for Holmes to win a wide UD on the cards.

Ya but you are forgetting about the skills gap .. Wouldn't you say that the Holmes Charles skills gap is a lot tighter than the Holmes Joshua Gap .. Joshua fought a 41 yr old Wlad and has only 21 fights .. That is a far cry from a Prime Holmes

Holmes is a good size HW with a long reach who was hit by guys who hit harder than Joshua. Joshua has not proven anything yet.

These big supposedly slow guys have shown themselves to be too much for any Holmes sized heavies in the past 20 years. Why can't any of them rise to the top? Wladimir beat many smaller boxer types and their speed was never an issue.

Whether he is better than Holmes is hard to say but the only guy to beat him in his prime was Wladimir. He's certainly closer to matching Holmes than the big guys of Holmes era are to matching Wlad or Joshua

Couldn't shine a prime Holmes shoes. Your reaching at anything to try an make a case for Joshua. Fact of the matter is with Holmes reach and skill he would take Joshua to school. Joshua wouldn't be able to deal with the jab let alone everything else Holmes brings. You act like Joshua size advantage is all that matters. You do realize Holmes is 6'4 ? Not exactly small..Joshua only has 1 inch on reach against Holmes and what 2 or 3 in height. Big deal.
