Larry Holmes vs. George Foreman. Who will win if they fight NOW?

Foreman had more overall power than Shavers I’d say, just as powerful (or thereabouts) with the right hand & far more dangerous with his left. Of course Holmes had almost no trouble with Shavers, but Foreman is absolutely streets ahead of him as a fighter.

The one time Shavers had Holmes in trouble, he was too exhausted to follow up. If that happened early with Foreman (& I’d say it would about 60% of the time), Holmes would be facing a two-handed hitter & finisher the likes of which he never even had nightmares of prior to Tyson.

 

Holmes was a bit too brave for his own good at times.
