Didn't Holmes wrestle in high school?

It's odd that out of all the murderous punchers who people want to throw into the Octagon prime for prime, it's the skilled, non-puncher technician who'd actually have some amount of grappling acumen.

 

One question first; Has Larry gotten over the flatulants problem of a couple weeks ago?

 

Jack Dempsey knew Jiu Jitsu and Rocky Marciano was an extremely talented highschool wrestler

Cool. Didn't know about Marciano. How did he do?

Dempsey I thought only learned jiujitsu late in life, when training self-defense for the coast guard.

(And of course, most guys before Willard would have also done a lot of wrestling.)

 

I remember Dempsey wrote in Championship fighting something about it

Im not quite sure how marciano did, as his main sports were football and baseball, so thats what most articles and books go over
