Comfortable UD for Lewis. Everything Holmes has Lewis has more of ( except for the slightly better jab, the chin doesn't come into it as Larry is not a concussive puncher ) size, strength, weight, height, reach, speed athleticism, mobility. Everything.

Larry had better stamina, better defense & more speed. And Larry's chin will be a big plus, because Lewis aint knocking him out with the right hand (although it would trouble him)

Would be a good hard fight. I see Holmes getting a points win.

Lol did you just say that Lewis has better mobility and speed than Holmes? Seriously? do you realize how dumb that sounds? also dont think lewis is really more athletic, so the obvious advantages that Lewis has would be power and size. Thats it.

Also Larry had by far the better jab.. lewis often would paw the jab while Holmes would snap it out there. Remember that lewis really struggled with guys that had a good jab such as mercer, vitali and bruno.. even holyfield at certain points.

Lewis has a good punchers chance to win but I don't see him winning more rounds than Larry.

I think Lewis enforces his physicality, crowds him and hurts Holmes a few times, maybe even puts him down, and takes a decision. He wouldn't feel compelled to take the cautious route in this one. Holmes certainly had trouble with lesser boxers and lesser punchers.

I'd pick Holmes, but I won't pick him by KO.
Lewis would be competitive, but Holmes takes most of late rounds.

Holmes was a very smart fighter. To crowd Larry he would need to avoid that jab. I don't think he has the ability to do so. Few had this ability. Also we are talking both men at their best. Holmes at his best was the better boxer.

I believe Holmes - Lewis would be a chess match.

Though I favor Holmes, I wouldn't write off Lennox as he has all possible size advantages (height, weight, reach) and better power.

Depends which version of Lewis you're talking about. If you've ever seen Lewis in his youth, when he was fighting Ruddock for example, he was damn fast and mobile.

Most only seem to remember the older version of Lewis who was flat footed and slow in comparison.

I'm pretty okay with this view as well. I think it depends on whether or not Lewis can hurt Larry, if he can I have to think he has far more finishing skills and intelligence than Shavers did. But even then that may only swing one or two round in Lewis' favour, if he can't stop Larry.

    Pretty tough fight to call.

No argument there, but Lewis at his best was the better fighter, and there lies the dilemma.
