Larry Holmes vs Lennox Lewis

Who's the best fighter in their prime that Lewis really beat? Holyfield that has fought Moorer twice, Tyson twice and Bowe 3 x ? 2000 version of Mike that basically lost every round to someone like Botha and got stopped by journeyman like Mcbride?

Lewis toughest fight I'd say against Mercer which basically a lucky escape for him, and Mercer was in mid 30. Look how aging Holmes outclassed Mercer few years earlier.

I'd say Holmes by UD or losing SD at best for Lewis, prime vs prime.

 

George wasn't asked on the matter, he mentioned it when commentating on one of Holyfield's fights.

 

Prime for prime Holmes would win a clear decision.
