At this stage absolutely more durable and more capable against guys with a punch. Ken had his great fights against Ali & Holmes but he failed much once he moved up against guys with real Pop that he couldn't push forward against . Ken was awkward but was stopped by most of the punchers he faced. Excellent specimen but flawed in the chin dept.
It's all fantasy land stuff. But it's safe to say that Povetkin would have a VERY good chance at beating Holmes. Alexander won Gold and a World Championship in the ams and has been a top fighter for years now. Holmes would have his hands full.
Funny how people always bring up Huck. Lol! "Ohhh Povetkin struggled with a cruiser weight!!" Michael Spinks was a light heavyweight right?? Holmes had his share of subpar performances. Every fighter does
Holmes was not in his prime vs Spinks. Spinks was also extremely awkward and a tough guy to fight. Many only remember Spinks being blown away by Tyson but Spinks was no slouch and went thru an intense training regimen to make himself a heavyweight, he was in amazing shape and could do 15 rounds with no problems. I'll take Spinks over Huck and maybe Povetkin as well.
I'll give you that, he's a whole different animal these days The Huck version I'm certain would be beaten by Holmes or Spinks.
Just to fill you in on something... Michael Spinks is an ATG and a p4p giant in the sport.. Twenty years from now no one will even know who the hell Marco Huck is
Just to fill you in on something... Marco Huck is a damn good cruiserweight and a multiple times champion. And you don't have some kind of ****ing crystal ball to tell you what the hell people will or won't remember in 20 years there guy.
early in his career he was basically mayonnaise with a skeleton, if he was using then he was doing something wrong.
