Larry Holmes vs Usyk

I still can't shake this gut feeling that Fury is going to annihilate Usyk.

Man, I really hope I'm wrong.

 

He would if he wasn't perma injured with shot elbows. He has skimmed down for Usyk which shows he knows and wants to have that out boxing versatility available if he needs it.

 

Holmes would throw too many lead rights for Usyk, He`d keep Usyk at range using his 81 inch reach and constantly pepper him with jabs.

 

People seriously picking Larry Holmes over Usyk?

Skils pays the bills and Larry is not the guy with them...

 

Apart from the fact that Larry is one of the most skilled HW’s of all time.

 

Maybe in the 80's Usyk uses his skills to bully giants not the other way around. Holmes was a big HW for his time who thrivied with the size advantage. Spinks was more skilled than him.

People are so deluded here...

 

He was past it, slower, and many feel Holmes was robbed in the rematch, including me.

Watch Norton Holmes then compare it with Usyk Bellew, enough said.

 

You seriously believe Holmes was more skilled than Usyk? Like evolution is going back in time? If so why stop with Holmes? Why not call John L Sullivan the most skilled heavyweight of all time?

 

I didn’t say that he was more skilled than Usyk.

I said that he’s one of the most skilled HW’s of all time.

Also, the most important thing is how they match up on the night stylistically.

If we breakdown Holmes tapes and compare it with Usyk there is a huge gap in skills between the two. Also Usyk is a southpaw and Holmes didnt do well against them. Usyk has a higher output, has never been stopped and Holmes doesnt have a Wilder equalizer either to hope for the punchers chance. I give him 0% in beating Usyk.

 

Bellew ? Perfect example. Gave Usyk problems yet not as fast, has a pathetic jab in comparison, not as accurate, not as agile and has a quarter of the chin and yeah the reverse can be said, but Holmes would smoke Bellew and looked better on camera too. Anyone over an iq of 70 can see this.

 

This takes the cake of the most uninformed and clueless post I've seen in ages. It's embarrassing
