    Start from 2:21.
His recovering abilities during his prime was insane. In any h2h we must take the best versions of each fighter.
So we can take the Holmes of the Cooney and Shavers fights, maybe the Norton fight against the Vitali of the Lewis fight.

Vitali was in his full prime against Lewis, that was the best we ever saw him because it was the only time he fought someone above B+ Level, even though that version of Lewis was barely barely above B+.
Vitali is not knocking out Holmes, he can't even knock out a faded Lewis. Vitali have limited one punch power, he builds up via an accumulation of punches into a late ko or tko.

Holmes had great hand speed, an ATG jab, a very good chin, and high work rate. I will think more about this fight, but as of right now just on the surface I see a 8-4 decision for Holmes, possibly a late stoppage.

Let's not forget also that Vitali got a weak mentality, there is a very good chance he breaks down and NO Mas again.

Agreed, though I think VK would break down mentally earlier.
