Agreed. His problem wasn't landing enough punches, it was that he got hit WAAAY too much and he didn't have the punch resistance to compensate.

 

Renaldo Snipe almost put Holmes away with a punch from left field. Whatever, Vitali or Vlad would knock him out.

 

Yes, he lost to my boy Jerry but he landed about 4-5 thudding right hands in that first round. Again, Shavers' problem was not landing punches... it was that he had terrible feet, zero head movement and no chin to compensate.

 

Holmes, cause he was better in any aspect, except maybe power. Although his power is underrated a bit imo.

 

Holmes from 1978 to 1982 beats both klits..........

 

But do you understand why your theory is non applicable for the Klychko's, or most non-Americans for that matter?

 

I would really like to see a opponent of Wlad's height and weight, I don't think Wlad can handle such ones well since once he gets clipped he's gone.

FACT

 

Larry in a war. Holmes is very under rated. He would adapt and find a way to eventually exploit Wlad's stamina and chin. Drag him deep in an epic fight and then suddenly drown him.

But Wlad is a good fight for every HW of all times.
