Larry Holmes W 15 Carl Williams

it was really close. Williams used the jab well but didn't follow up enough in combination. He also gassed the last few rounds

 

Funny about that-Williams looked great, at 6'4' & an 85" wingspan was 215 lbs., so not so much muscle that you would figure the younger, lighter fighter would gas...He must not have been well prepared for 15 rounds!

 

Very close fight but,similar to Larry's one with Tim Witherspoon,I just abut gave it to the champion. Had Carl been just a little more experienced he may well have won.
