Lewis would carve Holmes up like a roasted capon, but Holmes was tough so he could survive 12 rounds, he would take a vicious beating though.

bad match up for lennox both great fighters but styles make fights and everytime lennox boxed somebody with a good jab he struggled and larry had a hell of a jab i think he out boxes lennox over 12 or 15

I'm a fan of Lewis, but I must admit that I'd pick Holmes to edge him. Larry, in terms of overall ability, was the best heavyweight ever.

Holmes, wins a competitive fight against Lewis. 8-4, or 10-5 UD!

I'm a fan of both guys, but have to give this to Holmes by UD. Better handspeed, footwork, defence and chin.

Ray Mercer outjabbed Lewis ! The dreads on Lewis head would be snapping and flying when the Easton Assasin got his jab going. And, no Lewis would NOT be able to deal with Holmes` piston like jab...

Does anyone here really think that Lewis would have gotten up from the bomb that Shavers landed on Homes ??????

Tough to call...Two very good fighters and can bring it but I would have to favor Holmes due to his blistering jab...The jab will give Lewis fits and I think Lewis will get out of his game plan...Holmes IMO is one the most underrated HW fighters that I've seen.

Holmes probably would be in for a fight but he will prevail...And I'm a bigger Lewis fan than I am Holmes!:good

Lennox Lewis is my favorite HW boxer and I think Holmes would out hustle Lewis. Gotta call a spade a spade my man!

I would say Holmes over 15.

    Lewis over 12.

Very close fight either way, and as above if its over 15 I think Holmes would be able to keep up the tempo , Lewis tended to get a little arm weary from about 10 onwards.

I think Holmes beats Lewis too but I don't understand your reasoning at all. Mercer didn't beat Lewis but forget that, that's another discussion. McCall and Rahman beat Lewis yes but the best opponents Lewis faced he beat. Styles make fights and so do circumstances.
