Man sometimes i wonder if you yanks are boxing fans at all. Such little respect for European fighters.

I respect and admire any athlete who climbs through the ropes professionally and would happily watch two tramps fighting in a car park.

Try to remember Eubank, Benn etc also had middleweight titles and moved up to SMW. Benn never lost to an American and like it or not SMW is a very entertaining division with a history of domestic rivalries and classic fights.

The UK is a great boxing nation and has the most passionate sport fans in the world. A little respect / recognition would be nice.

168- aint the best, but it's certainly not the worst either, that title would go to the Heavyweight division.

Dawson is not a prospect, he's a champion. It's just that he hasn't fought any of the top contenders since Adamek, that will all change though come April 12. Anyways Larry Merchant is just talking out of his ass, he must of been drunk when he said that ****.

168 is much better than 160. Whats more the best fighters actually do something called 'facing each other'. Strange concept that

Calazage is better than Pavlik and Taylor. Kessler is better than both too. Mundine would probably beat both the top 160lbers. Then theres Froch, Lacy. Winky Wright is possibly going to 168.

Taylor has even moved to 168 now so all 160 has is Pavlik who will also be at 168 soonish too.

PS if Lacy was such a bum then why did the American mags have him in the top10 P4P Lists?? And why did most Americans pick him to beat Calazage?

should of hagler chased leonard into the supermiddleiweght frey:think a hearns hagler rematch would of been dinamite box office. a rematch with leonard at a different wieght would also would of worked.

just becuase he could move to light heavy doesnt make him a greater fighter. but it would mos def bring up his portfollio

what makes a fighter and a champion is being champion actually being on top and prooving through girt and age your the best fighter. going up in wieght was only reserved for guys who couldnt make wieght anymore. i dont know why people feel like it's a career move to go into a different wieght
joey gamache is a ****ing 2 wieght world champ:patsch

Staying in a shitty division like 168..and starving yourself to stay there is disgraceful.

When he retires boxing will forhet him..he will be known as the guy who never fought in america and a guy who beat Lacy and Kessler....wow!!!

You would get that if you stay in your lane and not talk big **** and NEVER prove it. Like we are saying, british fighters fight other good british fighters. Very few have made a statement on the world stage. Calzaghe and Kessler are not better then ****ing nobody b/c they both fought a bunch of nobodys and then each other. That dont make great fighters. Other guys been fighting top caliber championship level fighters for the past 5-8 years at least. A WHOLE DIFFERENT PLATFORM.
