Hopefully Larry gives Max the....."If I was fifty years younger, I'd kick your ass" line. But for Max, Larry would probably only need ten.
Where is Lennox Lewis??? He should be commentating every time there is a guy with a complicated or long name.
George Foreman is a gold mine of epic quotes. -"The referee is going to be the most important person in the ring tonight besides the fighters" -"Generally when there's a lot of smoke... there's just a whole lot more smoke." -"He broke his legs. His legs are broken" Foreman:"Look at De La Hoya's shoulders" Lampley: "What about them?" Foreman: "Look at them. They're massive." -"Antonio Tarver is just as fast as Roy Jones" -"Roy Jones is playing the feinting game and Griffin is benefiting by it" (Seconds before Jones knocks him out) -"Oh you better look out for those rich guys. They eat Caviar but they sure are tough. I wouldn't mess with those rich guys." (During De La Hoya-Vargas) -"All he needs is one big punch" (Every single HBO broadcast) -"Hopkins is tired now. His back just touched the ropes." (During Hopkins-Trinidad)
I wouldnt mind see how hopkins would do commentating, unless he gives a 3 minute speech or shows to much favouritism for Peterson he would do well I think. I would prefer kellerman to do the post fight interview, remember how larry ruined khans coming out party vs maidana in the post fight interview.
Funniest commentator was Hagler for me, he wasnt commentating for hearns vs leonard 2 just really rooting for hearns:yep The other dude is calling the fight and you hear him going " come on tommy! get him get him!":rofl Ali was funny as well.
