Barely 3 ****ing rounds have gone in the fight and Merchants "This fights putting me to sleep"

Boxing dont need that ****. Bernard Hopkins and Tarver are measuring eachother thru the early rounds like good fighters do, and all Merchant can say is how boring it is.


Its like they grabbed some old **** off the street and gave him a mic and told him to talk boxing.

 

Merchant tells it like it is and some sensitive schoolgirls cant deal with it.

Its better than watching Lampley go crazy everytime DLH threw a flurry where he missed every punch or hearing him cream himself watching Roy Jones staring at his opponent and making feints,or that **** he pulled of in the Pac-Clottey fight.

 

I like Merchant, much better than Kellerman.

 

well that fight was pretty damn boring. Also, Larry put Roy in his place when roy talking about "if you ever boxed before you would know this"...simply by telling him something along the lines of "we can agree to diagree but there is no need to pull rank".....i think roy realized this and laughed it all off. After all, there would be far less commentators and boxing writers, press (and forum posters) etc if they all had to have boxed at some point before expressing their opinions.

 

No it wasnt. Bernard Hopkins murdered Tarver, swoll his eye and knocked him over. Merchant even said "Im awake now"

Of course you are you muther****er you dont judge fights based on 3 rounds of action when ost high level bouts like that where the first 3 rounds fighters use to measure eachother out.

Its just a stupid thing to say. If he's a boxing fan it should take more then two guys measureing eachother up to bore him to sleep.

i didnt base it off the first three rounds. I happen to enjoy technical boxing matches but that fight bored the **** out me when i watched it live.

 

Everybody knows Larry comes on live TV wasted every now and then ...it's funny as hell.

 

Okay maybe he isnt drunk, I like him all the same, sometimes he is the mosst interesting thing happening during the fight...

 

Merchant > Lampley + Lewis + Foreman + RJJ + Atlas + Al Bernstein.

Actually Merchant and Foreman are better than all of those due to entertainment purposes lol.

To be fair though, those 3 rounds were boring. In facts, a lot of Hopkins fights are boring. I'm glad there's someone to represent that opinion as well, when there's also Lampley getting exciting over every punch that is blocked. You gotta have both sides represented on the broadcast.
