Larry Merchant: If I were 50 years younger, I'd kick your ass

I always love watching this .. Never was a Merchant fan but he is so good at asking the tough questions .. It's hilarious how he always gets under Floyd's skin

 

Larry was not ever politically correct although he was urged to restrain by his network, however Larry came from the old school where people (Men) did not allow another man to diss them. He later admitted he probaly would have never been able to kick Floyd butt but he would not have backed down.

Floyd on the other hand has matured nicely and has become a respectful guy and also outspoken and honest. The few months in jail was a good reality check on people & it showed him the frauds & the fair weathered friends. Tyson had a simular experience but 3 years worth but very costly yet he is a better man & still speaks plainly and honestly.

 

Larry would have kicked Floyd's ass if he was 50 years younger. It would have been hilarioius as hell!

 

No. And I generally liked Merchant but I thought he looked ridiculous here.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if Merchant had never been in a fight during his entire adult life. He was just acting tough because he knew Floyd wouldn't hurt him, and that it would play well to all the bitter fans who wish they could put Mayweather in his place.

 

I think he was a football player.
